About us
Lynton Horse Trials is held on the properties of "Lynton" and "Braemar House" just 5 minutes from the centre of Goulburn, NSW. Without the generous support of Alan Cardy and Anne Poidevin, the owners of these properties, we would not be able to hold one of the premier events in Australia. For over 20 years we have been sponsored by the Baxter Footwear Group and are extremely grateful for the support that this iconic Australian boot manufacturer has given us.
2014 will be our 26th event, our 11th International Event and the NSW State Championships. Lynton is known for challenging but fair cross country courses, a well run event and unpredictable weather! This year the weather promises to be fabulous and the going is fantastic so come on down for some super eventing!
We cater for Preliminary (95cm) to 3 Star combinations and since 2012 have had both CIC and CCI classes. We are always looking for people who would like to join our committee or would just like to contribute either in the preparation of the event or just helping out over the weekend.
Important Notice: Due to the change in the implementation date of the EA Hendra policy vaccination remains compulsory for all horses from the specific designated “EA Known Hendra Zones” of QLD and Northern NSW. The Baxter Boots State Eventing Championships will now be open to non-vaccinated horses from areas outside these high-risk zones.
